The Lambda8 is a compact, high-precision laser marking system designed for laboratories that require permanent, high-resolution sample identification without compromising workflow efficiency. Built for manual operation, it enables direct engraving of text, barcodes, batch IDs, logos, and custom symbols onto labware surfaces.

Compatible with a wide range of tubes and ANSI/SLAS-format racks, the Lambda8 produces durable markings that remain fully readable even after exposure to chemicals, abrasion, and extreme temperatures from -196°C to +100°C. Its small footprint, intuitive software, and consistent precision make it a practical solution for laboratories seeking dependable traceability.

The Lambda8 can process one ANSI/SLAS-format rack or up to 25 individual tubes per cycle, delivering precise and lasting identification directly onto sample containers.

Its advanced laser technology ensures clear, detailed results on non-transparent tube surfaces, maintaining readability regardless of sample content. By engraving directly onto the tube surface, the Lambda8 removes the need for labels, ribbons, and ink. This reduces ongoing consumable costs, minimizes waste, and eliminates issues such as label degradation, detachment, or fading.

Because the marking becomes part of the labware itself, sample identification remains consistent and reliable throughout storage, transport, and repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
