The CAPP Expell Cryotubes have an external thread that makes one-handed opening and tightening possible with just half a turn. Without any edges on the lid or between the lid and the tube, the Expell cryotubes can be stored in cryoboxes with 10×10 dividers, saving up to 23% storage capacity compared to other conventional cryosolutions. They are also compatible with common workstations on the market.
The Expell Cryotubes can be purchased in resealable stand-up pouches. They are suitable for storage in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen and are available in five sizes: 0.50ml, 1.00ml, 2.00ml, 4.00ml, and 5.00ml.
You can also order different coloured cap inserts, so that you can easily keep track of what is in which tube. These inserts can be ordered separately and are available in red, blue, white, violet, yellow and green

With the QuickSeal™ and Lip Seal cap design, the Expell cryotubes ensure 100% leak-proof tightening and opening with only one hand and half a turn.
The star-foot bottom of the Expell cryotubes allow for better stability and operation when stored in select cryoboxes.
The Expell cryotubes have a red line that indicates the recommended max filling volume for freezing samples in vapor phase liquid nitrogen at -196°C.
With a SuperStraight™ design (no edges on the lid or between the lid and tube), the Expell cryotubes fit into both 9×9 and 10×10 cryoboxes, optimizing storage capacity in the lab.
