The DR505 Rack Reader is characterized by its simplicity of use, handy size, low weight, and high read speed. The read time of 2D coded tubes in rack is 5 seconds and of individual tubes 2 seconds. An optional 1D barcode reader is also available. This attachment is easily added into the DR505 and allows the user to scan the side-barcode of the rack. Thanks to its fast-reading speed and anti-frost system, the DR505 is not only build to perform in a stand-alone environment, but also easily integrated into a fully automated robotic laboratory environment.
